Mobile Phone Policy
For students to learn successfully a school must be a safe environment free from unnecessary disruption and distraction. As a school we do not want to be monitoring music and computer games to ensure that they are appropriate or listened to at a volume that does not damage hearing. We do not allow MP3 players or hand held computer games to be brought to school as we believe that they detract from learning.
We discourage students bringing mobile phones to school but we accept that there are times when this may be necessary. Bullying is not tolerated in our school and we are aware that mobile phones can be used to bully individuals. Mobile phones should only be at school within the guidelines of this policy.
