We are serious about being the best school that we can be. We are a learning community that strives to provide children with quality learning in a safe and friendly environment. To achieve our goals the adults and children of the community need to work together. Having an effective Governing Council helps us to be a successful school. Governing Council is the group of parents, community members, staff and the principal that oversee the running of the school. Governing Council has responsibility for:
- The operation of the School Canteen
- The School Budget
- Developing Policy
- The Site Learning Plan
We ask you to consider helping us to run the school by serving on the Governing Council. Nominations are called for in February. Governing Council meets 8 times a year. The Annual General Meeting occurs in Term 1.
The Annual Report
The school produces an Annual Report each March. The report informs the community about:
- Our achievements
- Our plans to improve
- Our financial position
- The data that we are required to collect.
All families are able to access the Annual Report, to attend the Annual General Meeting and to participate in our democratic process.
