In English the students develop their skills as readers, writers, listeners, speakers and viewers. They learn how the language is used in different ways and for different purposes and how to communicate effectively and imaginatively in a wide range of situations. The daily literacy block covers many of the skills and experiences that children need to become successful users of the language.
