Bookweek

This year Book Week occurs in week 6 of term 3 with a theme of Book Safari. Students at Brahma Lodge Primary School are participating in a variety of learning activities. These activities are based on the shortlisted books from the Children’s Book Council of Australia.

Whole School Science

At Brahma Lodge Primary School we run whole school programs on a Friday afternoon. The purpose of the program is to improve our relationships. We want all the children in the school to know each other and we also want the teachers to know and be known by all the students. We organise the students into R-7 groups of about 15. The groups are then allocated to a teacher for 5 weeks. On a Friday from 2:00 pm until the end of day the students go to a teacher’s classroom …

The Chicken or the Egg?

Our Year 3-4 teachers organised for incubators with eggs to be delivered to the school as part of their science program. The eggs arrived on August the 17th and the students have been closely observing the eggs waiting for them to hatch.
